Anastasia Beverly Hills Moon Child Palette - Review and Swatches

Anastasia Beverly Hills Moon Child Palette Review and Swatches
by Lethal Kitten

Hello,

Recently I purchased the Moon Child Glow Kit from Anastasia Beverly Hills. This is a palette I have been having my eye on for quite some time now but was skeptical due to some of the unique highlighter choices within this palette. I bit the bullet and decided to purchase this palette as a graduation gift to myself for completing my schooling (and let's be honest, I wanted an excuse to buy more makeup).

For starters I ordered this palette off of the Anastasia Beverly Hills website itself. I was honestly so impressed with the service and the shipping of this product. When I purchased my palette I was given free shipping over $25, which is rare to see nowadays. I expected the service and shipping to be like other websites I order off of, such as taking about a little over a week or more to receive my items after placing an order. ABH on the other hand had my order processed and shipped within 24 hours of placing the order, not to mention I ordered it on Wednesday at 1 am and received it on my doorstep on Saturday of the same week.

Being that this is my first highlighting palette I had high expectations due to all the hype that is around Anastasia Beverly Hills as a brand. They are one of those brands you expect to perform well since everyone and their mother has at least one of their products. What I really liked about these highlighters is how they have a glow to them without being a glitter. They give a great sheen on the skin for a dramatic highlight but also make a great shimmery eyeshadow or inner corner highlight. The formula on these is very buttery yet they do not get powder all over nor create fall out when used on the lid. All the shades are extremely pigmented and they all are consistently the same amazing quality.  There is not one shade that performs better than the next. Another thing I want to point out is that the pan sizes on this are a great size for the price. You get a lot of variety yet if you find a favorite you will have a lot of product to be able to use unlike the Kat Von D Alchemist palette. Overall I think this palette is a fantastic product. It is extremely unique and is a great addition to my collection. Unlike a lot of highlighter palettes this one works well for my extremely fair skin and blends easily into my skin without looking like I applied a bronzer as a highlighter. Overall I recommend this to anyone who has been looking into getting it. You definitely will not regret the purchase.

My Favorite Shades: Star, Blue Moon, Purple Horseshoe
