Seafoam Green Cut Crease

Image
Hello :) So today's look is something I normally don't gravitate to. That being said, here is a seafoam green look with a yellow inner corner. For a few days now I have really been wanting to use the eyeshadow 'Buttercupcake' from Sugarpill in a look. I also really wanted to do something with greens and blues. So this is what I came up with :) ----------------------- Products Used Face: Maybelline Fit Me! Matte and Poreless Foundation - 110  Essence All About Matt! Simple Smokey Eye - Gothic Glam

Image
Hello :) So one of my favorite looks of all time to wear is a black smokey eye. It's one of my staple looks that I always go back to time after time again. Not only does it last literally all day, but it also is very universal for every eye shape and color. You can also change the undertones from a neutral (what I have here) to a more cool tone or even warm tone by just changing up the transitional colors.  One thing I recommend with dark eyeshadow is wearing a base ontop of the eyeshadow primer and all over the area you want the black eyeshadow to be rich and pigmented.  I suggest keeping the base out of the crease, but bringing it rather close. This is what allows it to stay all day. I typically use Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Eyeliner in Black as my base for this look since it has an excellent wear time.  If you want to do a super fall cool-toned smokey eye like this, I recommend trying Sigma - Elysses and MAC - Sketch eyeshadows. They're very cool toned wine sh

Red Eyeliner - Look Inspired By Roses

Image
Hello! So today's look is inspired by roses. I used all pinks, purples, and reds.  After I heard that Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick's were eye safe and had seen a few people on Instagram use them as eyeliners, I had to try it. Though I know a lot of people have irritation to red pigments,I however dont'. It applied well and smoothly to the lids, lasted extremely well (I had this makeup on for over 20 hours and it never smeared or faded), and didn't flake off. Oddly I almost prefer Unicorn Blood as an eyeliner instead of on the lips since it just doesn't look good on me in my opinion.  I recommend trying this trick with the Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipsticks if you haven't already :) -Kitten ----------------------- Products Used Face: Kat Von D Lock It Foundation - 42 Essence All About Matt! Weight Loss

Image
Hello :) So here is something I've not talked much on my blog, but if you follow me on other sites you will know of. I have lost 40 lbs roughly since last November/December. It's a big accomplishment for me since it's something I've wanted to do for the last few years but wasn't motivated enough to do it. I gained a lot of weight due to stress and being extremely lazy my last year of high school and my first two years of college. I wasn't healthy, nor cared if I wasn't.  I'll admit, I didn't lose my weight for a good reason, nor really for myself. I liked a boy at the time I started questioning if I should, and we had a big fight and ended up not talking for a few months....but I wanted to better myself and look good. So I decided to drop as much weight as I felt I needed to. By no means do I recommend losing weight for my reasons, but I will say I don't regret any minute of it.  I first started going vegetarian to lose weight. I

Fall Grunge Look

Image
Hello :) So I don't know about everyone else, but I'm really wanting fall! With the leaves changing colors, cold nights, and hot cups of tea in the morning.....ah it sounds just wonderful. And don't forget about pumpkin spice everything. This look is based around the Kat Von D Metal Crush Eyeshadow in Raw Powder. It's extremely metallic and a burnt rust/burgundy shade. In this look I paired it with a dark brown smokey eye and applied 'raw powder' onto the lid. For me I think this eyeshadow would look best with warm toned eyeshadows or browns and blacks.  One thing I'd like to mention about this eyeshadow is that if you apply it with a brush it's just a big pain in the a**. I really recommend applying it with your fingers so you can pack on the color and get it's true pigmentation. Other than that, it's a beautiful eyeshadow with a great formula. It's a perfect fall shade and is great for those smokey grunge looks we all love

Bittersweet Makeup

Hello :) So lately I havent been feeling all too well and just overall just don't feel good. So I have been keeping with my faveorite makeup of all time. This look is one I've worn for over 4 years now, and I always go back to it. It looks great with any lip color (black, deep reds, berries, pinks, purples, etc.) and if you have green or hazel eyes, it'll make them pop like crazy!  One thing I like about this look is that it's both dramatic but very simple to do. Once you get the hang of it, it's easy to add different colors to it to make it a different look :) --- In writing this is how I do it and what eyeshadows/products I use from my product list below: 1.) Apply an eyeshadow base all over your lid and up to the brow bone (Too Faced Shadow Insurance) 2.) Sweep a eyeshadow color all over your lid and up to your brow bone that is the same color as your skin tone. ('Urban Decay Vice 3' - Truth with a mix of 'Too Faced Chocol

Blue and Purple Gradient Makeup

Hello :) So this is a look I did the other day. While doing a previous look (Rainbow Sprinkles) I really liked the way that Sugarpill's Afterparty and Poison Plum blended into each other. I actually almost kept it that way instead of adding the other colors within that look. So I decided to recreate it with this, but added some of Sugarpill's loose pigment in 'Lumi' which let's be honest is probably one of the most gorgeous pigments out their.  Hope you enjoy :) Kitten --------------------- Products Used Face: Maybelline Fit Me!
