Lovesick


Hello my lovelies :)

So while I was in New York City on vacation I got a few thngs at Sephora. The first item being the Too Faced Primed and Poreless Face Primer. I've used this a few times now and can say it really helps my foundation stay matte all day(though I also use a matteifying setting spray). I've also noticed it helps make my dry skin not as visible through my foundation. I'm not too sure if I would repurchase it again since I have only tried it with the Maybelline Fit Me! foundation, but for right now I like the results it gives me. 

The second item I purchased was Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lovesick. I honestly cannot say enough good things about this liquid lipstick. First off, let's start with the packaging. I'm really digging the sleek and slim design. Its about the size of a pen (but a bit bigger of course) and isn't bulky in my makeup bag. Another thing that I really like is the applicator. Comparing it to the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams and Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick's, it is the easiest to apply and get a precise and smooth application. The doe foot applicator is big enough to where you dont have to keep on going back and forth, but it's small enough to give you precise lines on the cupids bow and inner corners. Even with the applicator itself being a bit long (due to the long slim design of the packaging) its still really easy to use. Formula wise, it's not too thick or thin, and dries down rather quickly. It also doesn't transfer, which is a big bonus for me since I like drinking water and soda all day. As far as lasting power, it lasted me until I took it off at the end of the day. This included being at work for over 6 hours and talking all day, eating a veggie burger, drinking soda/water, and wearing it for over 12 hours in total. If you're on the fence about buying it, and love cool toned mauve's, I'd recommend it in a heartbeat. It is honestly my new go-to 'ride or die' lippie.

Scenic City Cosmetics Review and Swatches by Lethal Kitten Hello! I recently tried out Scenic City Cosmetics on Etsy. This is my first time trying out a cosmetic brand on Etsy, and I must say I'm super impressed. Scenic City Cosmetics is inspired by things you can see and experience in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. All the names of her shadows are very creative and you can definitely tell they are inspired by the area in which she lives.  This is the packaging in which the shadows arrived in. The shadows themselves were individually put in small zip-lock bags and were bubble wrapped tightly! They all came perfect to me with no damage. This packaging really caught my eye, and I love how it has a cute rustic look to it as well. I really love how Scenic City Cosmetics pays close attention to detail with the packaging. My dad actually commented saying how nice it looked as well, especially since a lot of brands don't package things as nicely as this.

Juvia's Place Masquerade Palette Review and Swatches by Lethal Kitten Hey everyone, I have noticed recently that the Juvia's Place Masquerade Palette has became a cult favorite in the beauty community. The palette gives you a wide range of fun colors to more neutral everyday shades and also gives you a selection between matte and shimmer finishes. This palette can be bought at Juvias Place  website for $35. However, they do get discounted on HauteLook  so keep an eye out for that and all their other products as well.  The palette pictured above is the 'Large' size and not the 'Mini' I personally find the larger palette to be a better deal, especially if you fall in love with some of the shadows.  First off I must say you get a lot of product for the price of this palette.
